Minister for External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Lucia, and H.E. Subhash Gupta, High Commissioner of India to Saint Lucia, signed an agreement pertaining to the 'Indian Grant Assistance for the Implementation of Quick Impact Projects in Saint Lucia' on 14 October 2025. Minister Alva underscored the ongoing collaboration between Saint Lucia and India and conveyed his appreciation for the continuous support extended by India, notably various developmental projects and capacity-building programmes. Under the ambit of this agreement, five projects are scheduled for each financial year over a span of five years, with a maximum allocation of USD 50,000 per project
