0n 31 October, to commemorate National Unity Day (Rastriya Ekta Divas) and to pay tribute to the Iron Man of India, Sardar Patel, the Embassy celebrated the Festival of Unity at SVCC with an evening that radiated the spirit of India’s dance tradition. Ambassador underscored the contribution of Sardar Patel in the unification of India. He added that “Unity in Diversity” is deeply embedded in India's ethos, quoting the Rigvedic shloka "Ekam satya vipra bahudha vadanti," that means truth is one; sages call it by many names. The celebration showcased India’s rich dance heritage, from the energetic tribal folk rhythms of Karnataka, Haryana, Rajasthan, the Bhangra of Punjab, and the spirited Jhijhiya of Bihar to the graceful elegance of Kathak
