On 25 May 2026, the Project Steering Committee undertook a formal review of the progress of the Quick Impact Project, implemented under the grant assistance of the Government of India, concerning the installation of a traffic light system in the vicinity of Lyceum School in Paramaribo. Subsequently, the Ambassador, accompanied by members of the Project Steering Committee, conducted a site visit to assess on-ground developments and observed that the technical trial phase is presently underway.
