On 29 October 2024, High Commissioner, Subhash Gupta handed over the 1st tranche of relief material of about 10 tones to Hon'ble Frederick Stephenson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Consumer Affairs of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, during an official handover ceremony organized in Kingstown today. The total volume of relief supplies is about 64 tones at an estimated worth of USD 1 million. This relief assistance is to mitigate the damages suffered by the people of SVG due to Hurricane Beryl and is a gesture of continued strong India-SVG friendship.
