On 14 December 2026, under the district outreach initiative, the embassy organized a cultural programme at District Nickerie with a Bharatnatyam performance by the students of Dance School Satrangi followed by the setting up a consular help desk for grievances redressal, including dissemination of information about OCI card. Amb. Subhash Gupta talked about promoting cultural activities in Nickerie and invited people to participate in Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj in January 2025. Later, he visited Roblesplein QIP site, which is being carried out under India's grant assistance.
