On 18 December 2024, High Commissioner of India to SVG resident in Paramaribo, Subhash Gupta participated virtually in the 10th project steering committee meeting of the India-UN development partnership fund project on modernization of arrowroot project organized 17 December. He stressed that as per the initial project TORs, the facility has been completed and SVG side may now work forward to optimize the utilization of the facility for the benefit of the community.
