For new born baby an applicant should apply for certificate of Birth and Passport.

- Application for Registration of Birth of a Minor child https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/
- Applicant to fill online application on https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in.This will generate the Application Reference Number (ARN) and PDF file. The print-out of the saved PDF file of online passport application be submitted.
- Indian Passports (both mother and father ) in original and one photocopy
- Copy of Marriage certificate
- Baby Birthcertificate from Hospital (original and one photocopy)
- Copy of Marriage certificate
- Copy of Address proof and Work permit
- Declaration letter that my child does not hold passport of any other country.(annexure D)
- Five Photographs of5x5 cm (More details on photo specifications may please be seen)
- Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Any Other Government Document of Father and Mother
