NEW BORN BABY:

For new born baby an applicant should apply for certificate of Birth and Passport.

  2. Application for Registration of Birth of a Minor child https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/bullet
  3. Applicant to fill online application on https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/gpsp/AuthNavigation/Loginbullet This will generate the Application Reference Number (ARN) and PDF file. The print-out of the saved PDF file of online passport application be submitted.
  4. Indian Passports (both mother and father ) in original and one photocopy
  5. Copy of Marriage certificate
  6. Baby Birthcertificate from Hospital (original and one photocopy)
  7. Copy of Marriage certificate
  8. Copy of Address proof and Work permit
  9. Declaration letter that my child does not hold passport of any other country.(annexure D)
  10. Five Photographs of5x5 cm (More details on photo specifications may please be seen)
  11. Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Any Other Government Document of Father and Mother

 New born Baby: Certificate of Birth and Fresh passport (inclusive fee, ICWF) 121.00 [US$ 81.00 (US$ 90.00 – 10% discount), in passport fee for fresh applications (and not for re-issue) up to the age of 8 years]  plus US$ 40.00 Certificate of Birth

ICWF charges – US$2.00 with all the above services

*Bank charges - US$10.00 with all the services if the fee is paid through bank draft/banker’s cheque in favour of Embassy of India, Paramaribo.

Return Airway bill may be enclosed with 'paid' stamped on it for applicants residing in Saint Lucia, Barbados and Saint Vincent and Grenadines:
