PASSPORT:

1. Applicant to fill online passport application onhttps://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/gpsp/AuthNavigation/Login This will generate the Application Reference Number (ARN) and PDF file. The print-out of the saved PDF file of online passport application be submitted
2. Three Photographs of5x5 cm (More details on photo specifications may please be seen)
3. Existing Passportalong with a copy,
4. Proof ofpresent Residence and Work permit,
5. Personal Particular Form
6. In case of minor: original Passport & copy of both parents along with the annexure C and D
7. In case of loss/damage Passport: Applicant should submit the Police Report, Passport copy (both front and last page), Self-Statement, Aadhar/Voter ID/ Pan card, Annexure F & Annexure E
8. Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Any Other Government Document

In case:  change of particulars in passport, applicant should apply for reissue of Passport along with Affidavit O

OBTAINING FORMS
The application forms for various services can be obtained from Consular section of the Embassy or can be downloaded from the website http://passport.nic.in All forms are provided free of charge.

WORKING HOURS:
Applications are accepted at the counter between 0900 -12.00 hours on all working days and delivered between 1500 - 1600 hours.

MISCELLANEOUS CONSULAR SERVICES

The embassy of India in Paramaribo provides the Miscellaneous Consular Services (such as Power of Attorney attestation, Birth Certificate etc.) through the e-portal  https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices/ with immediate effect.

Steps to be followed for online application:

Step 1:
Visit the website:- https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices/. Apply for the desired services, upload the required documents on the portal and submit the application.

Step 2:
Based on the documents uploaded and the services applied, the Embassy will verify the application and the applicant will receive a notification in this regard. In case of objection while verification, the same will be intimated to the applicant through the online portal. In this case the applicants are required to re-submit the application after uploading the relevant documents. The Embassy will again verify the application and intimate the status through the same online portal.

Step 3:
Once the applicant receives the confirmation of verification, they are required to visit the Embassy with a printed online application form along with one set of copies of all the documents uploaded online and prescribed fee in cash as well as the original documents. The application can be submitted between 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM on all working days.

Step 4:
The ready documents can be collected either on the next working day or any working day thereafter after payment between 16:00 to 16:30 hrs.

Note:

1. Applicants are advised to visit the Embassy only after the approval of application by the Embassy through online mode.

2. No prior appointment is required.

Note: There shall be a discount of ten percent, in passport fee for fresh applications (and not for re-issue) up to the age of 8 years and senior citizens (persons above the age of 60 years).

Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) charges – US$2.00 with all the above services

*Bank charges - US$10.00 with all the services if the fee is paid through bank draft/banker’s cheque in favour of Embassy of India, Paramaribo.
