The meeting underscored the shared commitment of India and Suriname to celebrate Heritage Month in a spirit of partnership and cultural exchange.The Embassy expressed its willingness to contribute and collaborate to organize many celebratory activities, including, Workshops and interactive sessions on Hindustani heritage,Cultural performances comprising dance, music, and theatre- Ramleela, Art exhibitions and textile showcases, cuisine , friendship run, sports and yoga events, Ayurveda demonstrations etc. These initiatives will not only enrich the observance of Heritage Month but will also mark the Golden Jubilee of diplomatic relations between India and Suriname, highlighting five decades of friendship and cooperation.
