Registration of Birth and Passport of newly Born Child

Registration of Birth and Passport of newly born child :-

1. Duly filled form on e-Sewa Portal. The portal link is https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices/. The details for filling up application on e-sewa portal can be accessed by clicking here.  

2. Duly filled Application for Registration of Birth of a Minor child. The same can be accessed at https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/

3. Applicant to fill online application on https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/gpsp/AuthNavigation/Login for applying of new passport. Upon completion the process, Application Reference Number (ARN) and application form will be generated. The print-out of the saved PDF file of online passport application should be submitted in Embassy of India, Paramaribo.

4. Indian Passports (both mother and father) in original and one photocopy

5. Copy of Marriage certificate of parents

6. Baby Birth Certificate from Hospital (original and one photocopy)

7. Copy of Address proof and Work Permit of either Parents 

8. Declaration as per Annexure D

9. Three Photographs of 5x5 cm

10. Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Any Other Government Document of Father and Mother

11. All the above documents needs to be uploaded on e-Sewa Portal.

FEE

 

 New born Baby: Certificate of Birth and Fresh passport (inclusive fee, ICWF) 121.00 [US$ 81.00 (US$ 90.00 – 10% discount), in passport fee for fresh applications (and not for re-issue) up to the age of 8 years]  plus US$ 40.00 Certificate of Birth

ICWF charges – US$2.00 each for both services 

*Bank charges - US$10.00 with all the services if the fee is paid through bank draft/banker’s cheque in favour of Embassy of India, Paramaribo.
