On 22 April 2026 Ambassador Subhash Gupta today held talks with the Board of Anton de Kom University on bolstering cooperation in the field of education & research, utilization of ITEC training and availing the scholarship available in India for Surinamese friends. A highlight of the meeting was the proposed establishment of an ICCR Chair at AdeKUS to expand academic opportunities for students and faculty.
