On 17 March 2026, the Ambassador engaged with technical experts from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, currently tasked with the maintenance of the Suriname Defence Forces' Chetak helicopters brought to Suriname under a LoC project. To further his understanding of bilateral defense cooperation, he later held discussions with the Commander of the Suriname Air Force regarding the ongoing overhauling of the fleet.
