In a notable advancement toward strengthening pharmaceutical governance and deepening bilateral cooperation in the health sector, the Honourable Minister of Health and Wellness of Barbados, H.E. Senator the Honourable Lisa Cummins, and H.E. Subhash Prasad Gupta, High Commissioner of India to Barbados, inked a Memorandum of Understanding on Pharmacopoeial Cooperation on behalf of the Government of Barbados and the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of the Republic of India respectively, during an official signing ceremony hosted by the Government of Barbados on 27 February 2026.
