On World Environment Day, the Ambassador and his spouse, along with the Embassy team, planted a sapling of Bohemian (Kachnar) at the Bharat Bhawan premises in Paramaribo under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, an inspiring initiative by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to encourage people worldwide especially the youth to plant a tree in their mother’s name.
