On 29 October 2024, High Commissioner of India to Saint Vincent and Grenadines, resident in Paramaribo, Subash P. Gupta and Hon. Frederick Stephenson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Consumer Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding between India-SVG for a project focused on the development of a SME facility for processing of leafy and root vegetables and fruits under the India-Caricom funding worth of USD 1 million would boost SMEs as well as employment and incomes in the agri-processing sector in SVG.
