The Embassy of India & SVCC Paramaribo in association with Surinamese Indian Women Association (SIWA) successfully conducted a Saree Workshop, showcasing the unique draping styles and traditions of different states of India. The event began on an auspicious note with Ganesh Vandana, beautifully performed by the SVCC Kids Dance Team, Choreographed by Ambili Chidangil Dance TIC, SVCC. Its invoking Lord Ganesha's blessings for a successful and meaningful program. Dr. Ruchi Gupta, President of SIWA, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of the workshop and the importance of preserving India's rich cultural heritage.
